HEY THERE
i’m anissa
I’m a wedding photographer with a wanderer’s soul, someone who loves people and uncontrollable laughter.
After living in various corners of the world, I decided to settle between Porto and Geneva to pursue my passion: wedding photography.
My superpower? I speak five languages fluently (French, German, English, Spanish, and Portuguese), which makes me a real chameleon. I can connect with everyone at your wedding and adapt to different cultures with ease.
What truly matters on your wedding day? Having a great time. It’s your big day — make sure it’s filled with unforgettable moments.
Oh, and here's something most couples don’t think about: you’ll often spend more time with your photographer than with some of your guests. So we might as well have a blast together!
my story
I haven't always been a photographer, but I always knew that one day I would live from my passion.
As a kid, I dreamed of becoming a painter, a millionaire’s wife (smart little girl, right?), an actress… and also a gerontologist (don’t ask me why).
In the end, I chose to study literature, which led me to work for about ten years as a translator and writer.
Then one day, I started a blog and bought a second-hand Canon. A whole new world opened up. Torn between pen and camera, I was hooked. At first, I fumbled my way through — the results didn’t match my ambitions — but over the next ten years, I trained my eye, learned to see the world through the lens, and slowly got better.
In 2020, the pandemic hit, life changed, and I finally took the leap. Time to live off this passion that had been simmering inside me for so long.
I went back to school — this time for photography. I studied technique and the great masters. I spent hours exploring the world, searching for that perfect shot.
I dreamed of being a photographer for National Geographic. Then I shot my first wedding. I was doomed — I loved it.
The crowd, the rollercoaster of emotions, the candid moments, the festive vibe (and the cheese platters, yum!), and above all… love, warming every corner of the room.
So I jumped in. I started traveling across French-speaking Switzerland to meet couples who trusted me to capture one of the most important days of their lives. I laughed, and yes, I sometimes cried a little too.
Because wedding photography isn’t just about photos — it’s a human connection between you and me.
Not comfortable in front of the camera? Don’t worry — I’m apparently quite funny. I’ll happily crack a few bad jokes to get you relaxed. That’s what wedding photography is too: a delicate mix of visual art and stand-up comedy.
For me, a successful wedding is one where I had just as much fun as the guests. Believe me — it makes the photos more honest and heartfelt.
And honestly, isn’t it nicer to say, “Remember our photographer? She was hilarious.”
So why not go for a photographer who’s a little quirky, a little funny, and who knows how to put you at ease?
